Bitcoin Wallets Analysis
On-chain activity saw a notable rebound yesterday. Bitcoin active addresses jumped 5.51% to 663,467, reversing the prior day’s slight dip and signaling renewed engagement. Total addresses continue their slow climb, now at over 1.529 billion, a modest 0.02% increase. This suggests a growing base, even if daily activity fluctuates.
We’re seeing broad-based accumulation across most wallet sizes. Addresses holding over 0.001 BTC ticked up 0.06% to 12.14 million, while those with more than 0.1 BTC increased 0.01% to 3.55 million. Even the larger cohort of wallets holding over 100 BTC grew 0.04% to 17,880. This consistent, albeit small, growth across mid-to-large retail and smaller institutional players points to steady buying momentum.
The very largest holders present a different picture. Wallets with over 1,000 BTC actually saw a 0.26% decrease, dropping to 1,947. This slight contraction in the whale cohort, while smaller addresses expand, suggests some profit-taking or reallocation at the top end, even as broader participation strengthens.

Conclusions About the Bitcoin Network
The latest data shows a mixed but generally constructive on-chain trend. We’re seeing a clear uptick in active addresses and consistent, incremental accumulation across a wide range of wallet sizes, from smaller retail to mid-tier institutional. This broad engagement provides a solid foundation. The divergence in the largest wallets, with a slight reduction in those holding over 1,000 BTC, needs close observation. It indicates some larger players might be trimming positions, but it doesn’t outweigh the overall expansion in active participants and accumulating smaller holders. This two-day snapshot suggests underlying strength, but the largest holders’ behavior requires continued monitoring.
