Bitcoin Wallets Analysis
Bitcoin’s address landscape shows subtle shifts over the past 24 hours. Total addresses climbed to 1.556 billion on October 27th, a modest 0.02% increase. However, this growth largely mirrors a similar 0.02% rise in zero-balance addresses, which now stand at 1.499 billion. This suggests new addresses are being created, but they’re not immediately accumulating Bitcoin.
Looking at smaller holdings, addresses with over 0.00001 BTC saw a 0.04% uptick, reaching 12.35 million. Similarly, wallets holding more than 0.000001 BTC increased by 0.02% to 5.02 million. This indicates some minor activity at the micro-transaction level, but it’s not a broad accumulation signal.
The picture changes for more substantial holdings. Wallets with over 0.01 BTC dipped 0.10%, settling at 8.25 million, marking the largest percentage decline among active tiers. Addresses holding more than 1 BTC also saw a slight decrease of 0.03%, now at 819,978. Even larger cohorts, like those with over 10 BTC and 100 BTC, registered minor declines of 0.03% and 0.07% respectively. This suggests a slight distribution or a pause in accumulation from mid-to-large holders.

Conclusions About the Bitcoin Network
The latest on-chain data presents a mixed, somewhat muted signal. While the total address count edged up, much of that growth stems from empty wallets, not new capital inflows. We’re seeing minor increases in very small balance addresses, but this doesn’t translate into significant buying momentum. Crucially, addresses holding 0.01 BTC, 1 BTC, 10 BTC, and 100 BTC all registered minor declines, pointing to a slight distribution or a lack of fresh accumulation from these key cohorts. The overall trend suggests a quiet period without strong directional conviction from larger holders.
