Bitcoin Wallets Analysis
Bitcoin’s on-chain metrics are showing some interesting divergences. The most striking move comes from the largest holders: addresses with over 10,000 BTC climbed 1.19% to 84, a notable increase. This suggests significant capital inflows into the highest-tier wallets, indicating strong conviction from large players.
Meanwhile, the overall address count continues its slow expansion, with total addresses ticking up 0.02% to over 1.55 billion. Zero-balance addresses mirrored this growth, also rising 0.02%. This broad expansion, however, doesn’t translate uniformly across all balance tiers. We’re seeing modest growth in mid-range addresses holding between 0.00001 and 0.001 BTC, with these cohorts increasing by 0.02% to 0.05% respectively.
Conversely, some mid-to-large tiers saw slight reductions. Addresses holding over 0.01 BTC dipped 0.01%, while those with over 1 BTC also saw a 0.01% decrease. The 10 BTC and 100 BTC cohorts experienced more pronounced declines, dropping 0.03% and 0.18% respectively. This mixed activity suggests that while whales are accumulating, some smaller to medium-sized holders might be taking profits or rebalancing.

Conclusions About the Bitcoin Network
The latest on-chain data points to quiet accumulation at the very top, contrasted with some distribution among mid-tier holders. The 1.19% jump in addresses holding over 10,000 BTC is a clear signal of institutional or very large individual buying momentum. While total addresses continue to grow, the slight dips in the 0.01, 1, 10, and 100 BTC cohorts suggest a re-distribution of wealth rather than widespread retail accumulation. This dynamic implies a strengthening of conviction among the largest participants, even as other segments show minor outflows.
